Chad is one of Africa's Conservation's recent success stories, largely unexplored and unknown to traditional African travelers. The Zakouma National Park and the Eneddi are among the rare gems that remain to be explored in this West African semi desert. The Zakouma is a park that despite its turbulent past, has seen a huge recovery under African Parks Foundation management. Wildlife numbers have grown massively with Buffalo in excess of 10 000 and elephant in excess of 600. A totally different experience, with ancient culture and wildlife equally fascinating. The Eneddi Reserve in the northeast is a vast Saharan landscape with rock towers and arches, quivering yellow sands, with cliffs and canyons covering 40 000sq km. The largest portrayal of rock art anywhere in the Africa. Chad is a place to learn that there is far more to Africa’s habitats and wildlife than what is traditionally known.

Zambia is often described as ‘the real Africa’ . This is due to the fact that over 35% of the country is devoted to wildlife protection, and most of it noncommercial. The variety of the habitats is only enhanced by its large selection of rivers that rise within, making it among the most water rich countries in Africa. Zambia offers the opportunity to experience large wild uninhabited and uncluttered expanses where one can truly be enthralled by an Africa of yesterday; massive wildlife areas with a huge diversity of species, heart tearing beauty and the opportunity to immerse oneself in the very essence of remoteness.
