NAMIBIA
A 24 day privately guided safari across the very best of Namibia. Starting in the capital of Windhoek and working our way north through the wet plateau of the Waterberg and onto Etosha National Park. With vast open spaces and incredible wildlife, with Etosha's white dusty calciferous winds blowing over the endless plains. We move west through the sandy desert regions travelling west through the vast often stark rock formations and rock art of Twyfelfontein, speaking of an old civilisation and tumultuous geological past.
Southwards to the cold Atlantic coast, and along the wild sea battered coast, and a vast Cape Seal colony; all the while munching on the freshest of seafood. The southward journey leads further into the stark sandy dunes of the Namib and the Sossuvlei, while appearing barren there is life in these sands to behold. We venture further south onto the arid Atlantic of the historic town of Ludertiz, where diamonds rule the ageing harbour and sand covered historic town of Kolmanskop. Taking our leave of the Atlantic we head East towards the Kalahari desert, and enter the transfrontier park of the Kgalagadi. Spending time in this desert with its enormous variety of wildlife. |
