Zambia is often described as ‘the real Africa’ and offers the opportunity to experience large wild uninhabited and uncluttered expanses where one can truly be enthralled by an Africa of yesterday; massive wildlife areas, heart tearing beauty and the opportunity to immerse oneself in the very essence of remoteness, wildness and experience authentic safari unlike many other African destinations
The Liuwa Plains – Africa’s other Wildebeest migration! A great wilderness stretching out, with almost treeless plains as the herds of Wildebeest congregate with the fresh grasses to have their babies. Vast flocks of migratory birds bursting into the sunset over the bustling plains – the Liuwa Plains are one of Africa’s last remaining truly wild places.
The Luangwas – The South Luangwa Valley National Park is in my view one of Africa’s most iconic parks, with wildlife viewing and natural beauty that is hard to beat elsewhere. The Luangwa is a River that carves a new series of ways each year, creating new lagoons where on the valley floor the wildlife roams in abundance.
Kafue Nat Park – Kafue is one of Africa’s largest protected wildlife national parks and extends over 2 million hectares (20 000 sq Km). From the clay soils of the south to the central Riparian woodlands and onto the vast open plains of the Busanga in the north, the Kafue is everything beautiful, remarkable and wild. Home to an excellent array of the widest array of wildlife species in the southern region of Africa.
