Zimbabwe is a landlocked country in southern Africa known for its dramatic landscape and diverse wildlife, within some of the best parks in Africa. On the Zambezi River, Victoria Falls, a massive 108m drop into the narrow Batoka Gorge, where there’s white-water rafting and bungee-jumping. Downstream are Matusadona and Mana Pools National Parks, home to hippos, large herds of Elephant and stunning bird life.
Hwange – Hwange N Park, Zimbabwe’s largest national Park, and home of Africa’s largest population of African elephant. This beautiful park is characterised by the changing landscapes of vast open plains with Palm trees , to dense Zambezi Teak forests, all part of the Kalahari sandveld ecosystem.
Mana Pools – Mana as referred to by the locals, is a unique wild African park dominated by the lazy flowing Zambezi River. Zimbabwe’s most wild place, with large mammals and 350 bird species, with beautiful river views and opportunities to see Africa’s wildlife at its very best.

Starting across from one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World, Victoria Falls. Where we will be staying with a beautiful view down into the gorge bellow. Guests will get to experience the true power and beauty of this natural wonder. Privately guided walks to the falls, a boat cruise, and the chance to track the endangered Black Rhino, and watch what is being done to save these incredible creatures. We move through to Matt’s old place of work, Hwange National Park. Taking a train into the park, being able to view wildlife as you are served a delicious lunch aboard. Hwange is home to some of Africa’s best lodges and an incredible destination for wildlife sightings. Our guests will stay in 2 amazing lodges, in very different areas of the park, to ensure the best game viewing possible. With open game drives and walks, these are the two best ways to experience one of Africa’s best parks. With large herds of elephant and lion, and vast views, this is a photographer’s dream destination.

Mana Pools, Hwange National Park and Victoria Falls

This Privately Guided Safari, takes our guests through the best that the phenomenal country of Zimbabwe has to offer. In these 14 days we cover 2 iconic wildlife areas. Mana Pools National park boarders the south bank and islands of the great Zambezi River, which forms the border with Zambia. The park is known for wildlife visibility beside the river and in the flood plains. Large populations of elephants, hippos and Nile crocodiles gather at sunrise in the Long Pools. With guided walks, and renowned close encounters with elephants and other game.
We then fly through to Matt’s old place of work, Hwange National Park, home to some of Africa’s best lodges and wildlife sightings.
